Great post! In a slightly ironic twist, Benjamin was actually MY Calculus teacher freshman year
But I do agree with him that probability and statistics is more useful in the “real” world.
Currently though, prob/stats are taught with a large calculus component so the curriculum would really have to be dramatically changed to make it more accessible as a pre-calculus course.
