I was looking at the P2 template, yesterday, in connection with another blogging project. I thought it was a clear standout. I needed a one column format, otherwise I would have jumped all over it.

I like the way Midas Oracle looked in it. I did notice that a YouTube video post pushed the short-cut drop-down into the background. Small thing. But overall, I think you should go with it.

You may want to iframe the WordPress content so you have full web site control.

    Good stuff.

Looks good and appears to be quite functional, but it would be nice if each post had a title. I scan posts of interest based on the title rather than the author or tags.

    Otherwise, it’s an improvement.

  3. I like it. Very clean. But, yeah, what’s up with no titles?

  4. The WordPress theme “P2″ is awesome, but has a series of shortcomings, which I hope a future child theme will address. (Yes, P2 does not display the post title.)

I found out another great theme: WP FrameWork, which I have installed. At the time of writing, I have not yet finished finessing the installation.

Follow the author link and theme site link. This young guy is awesome.

  6. Yes, P2 does not display the post title. However, its predecessor, Prologue, has an option for displaying the post title. Maybe P2 could do that, too, in an ulterior version.
