So, outside of Chilton, they are saying that event contracts, broadly speaking, are within CFTC jurisdiction.
With these particular contracts, Market Oversight seems to have a “can do” attitude, but there is still a good amount of skepticism on manipulability and whether or not such contracts would conform to the CEA.
