<p>In passing, I &#8220;remark&#8221; that they don&#8217;t get web writing.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.useit.com/alertbox/980906.html">Microcontent: How to Write Headlines, Page Titles, and Subject Lines</a></strong> &#8211; by Jakob Nielsen &#8211; (<a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2007/02/03/searchengines_kill_t.html">Search-engines kill the art of clever headlines</a>) &#8211; 1998-09-06</li>
</ul>
<p>&#8212;</p>
<p>The small team of <strong>The Economist&#8217;s Project Red Stripe is about to make the decision</strong> on which project it will &#8220;take to market&#8221;. I&#8217;m biased. I believe that displaying market-generated predictions is the logical extension of any idea and news publishers. But should The Economist set up its own prediction sub-exchange or should it just cherry-pick the probabilities generated on various liquid prediction exchanges out there?</p>
<p><em>Previous</em>: <strong><a href="http://www.midasoracle.org/2007/03/25/the-economist-should-set-up-the-open-institute-for-prediction-markets/" title="stimulating and focusing the energies of prediction markets on the creation of superior global business intelligence">The Economist should set up The Open Institute of Prediction Markets</a>. (thanks to Mike Linksvayer for ideas)</strong> + <a href="http://www.midasoracle.org/2007/03/29/entrepreneurship-and-marketing/" title="business and entrepreneurship are important parts of science">ENTREPRENEURSHIP and MARKETING</a></p>
