I typed “predictions” in Wolfram Alpha, and I got that… among other things.

And now, for “forecasting”:
They wonder what happened to TradeSports, they question Google, and Google sends them to Midas Oracle (and not InTrade or Overcoming Whatever) —because only Midas Oracle will tell them *the truth* about prediction markets.
Since November 2008:
And “tradesports” is only one keyword… among thousands.
Google Web Search shows that I am the only blogger in the world to talk about “prediction market journalism”.
Good thing: I’m a pioneer (following Justin Wolfers’ footsteps).
Bad thing: The whole world does not give the first fig about “prediction market journalism“. We will spend much energy introducing them to this new concept.

Since YooPick opened their door, Midas Oracle has been getting, daily, 2 or 3 dozens referrals from FaceBook.
I understand that YooPick is a FaceBook application, but I’d like to know what these people are talking about, and in what context they link to Midas Oracle, and what they expect to find out on Midas Oracle when they click on the Midas Oracle URL. Natural curiosity for an intrepid webmaster like me.

InTrade is now the #2 result for the “prediction markets” query on Google Web Search, just behind the unbeatable Wikipedia.
Their website title is meaningful (“InTrade prediction markets”);
Their description line is meaningful (“Trading Exchange where you trade on politics, current events, financial and other contracts with best execution.”) I would just object to the adjective “trading”, [...]
