How to measure the popularity of blogs: the number of feed subscribers
You can assess the Web popularity of a blog by checking its server stats or its Google Analytics stats. But there’s another way to check how much a readership is really committed with the blogger: counting the number of machines (used by active readers, we hope) that have subscribed to his/her blog feed.
