Putting aside Google Search, which is awesome, the symptom is:

- Not enough marketing. Google Wave is the textbook case. It was technically brilliant, but incomprehensible for the average computer user.

- Too much marketing. Google Chrome OS is officially an attempt at answering user problems, using an old technology (OS kernel + browser + web apps). A better way is to generate plenty of new technologies, and get these solutions chasing the problems. That’s what they do in Silicon Valley. That’s how we now have iPhones and iPads dominating the new usages.

UPDATE: Jed says I will get the invite wave in a few days. Patience. I will then be able to invite friends of mine.

I think Google Wave is a collaboration tool. It does not replace e-mail and Twitter –(it will replace IM, though). It is truly for people who want to produce a collective work.
