Good idea. Bad example. (The best Wiki pages are the ones that are re-written very often. How would you quantify the best contributors’ input?)

And why is it that subscribers would be working to improve the content of The Economist’s website and be prevented to keep their remunerations to put food on their family table? Rotten sub-idea.

The deadline for idea submission is March 25th, 2007. The one-trick pony will try to hatch a something.
