Only registered people can comment on Midas Oracle.

Just a short note to tell you that I have closed the possibility to comment without being registered. Here’s why: Tons of spammers came, and it provoked server saturation.

To add salt injury, the spammers have circulated the URL of Midas Oracle as the best blog to spam since it has a Google PageRank of 6/10 and since it used to have (that’s not the case anymore) a plugin that would make the links posted in comments as “do follow” (i.e., transferring PageRank). Both characteristics made Midas Oracle a rarity (from their perspective).

I’ll investigate new avenues for commenting, later on. Maybe an outside service, like Disqus or Intense Debate. I’ll see. I’m fed up by spammers, as of today. Sorry. I give up.

So, if you want to comment, you have to be registered. I used to let people register themselves, but too many spammers tried to enter this way. If you want to be registered, contact me personally.
