Behind Nigel Eccles (of HubDub fame), the remains of the West Pier in Brighton, England.

As for me, I would rather have a picture taken of moi with the Eiffel Tower in the background (or some other monument devoted to the greatness of humanity) —as opposed to a burned-to-the-core carcass. :-D

British humor, I suppose.

  1. Perhaps an unconscious prediction as to the fate that awaits his company?

  2. HubDub is a great prediction exchange. It harnesses the Google power. Plenty of web visitors from Google —thousands and thousands of them. That has value.

  3. I will stick my neck out and confidently predict that HubDub will have gone bust within twenty four months.

    I do not make predictions lightly; see re the Sportsman;

    I am also in print (Racing Post) as having predicted the demise of many of the small online bookmakers and online betting exchanges; not to mention the ending of the online poker bubble!

  4. Please excuse the typos – the heat has got to me…

  5. (I corrected the typo.)

    Yes, you are an accurate predictor.

    However, in the case of HubDub, I will take the opposite bet, as I see Nigel Eccles as both talented and resourceful. He will surprise us.
