Intrade Meltdown

Intrade has been experiencing a technical meltdown over the last 8 hours. The site was completely down from about 7pm EST Monday to 3am EST Tuesday. When it came back up there was no email explanation, no forum explanation. Those who sent complaint emails were given a reply by Carl Wolfenden saying full service had been restored. Only problem is it is still not possible to trade on the site! Bids and asks are showing up but if you try to put an order through it denies you and claims the system is in Batch Processing Mode. No response from Wolfenden in the last hour to my question of when full service would ACTUALLY resume. I am trying to cover a losing short position and am basically getting screwed over by Intrade because I can’t trade.

I don’t know who in the world gave these people $3.5m in new financing. They can’t even get their house in order.
