Problem with the Inkling Markets chart widgets

When inserted in a WordPress blog post, they create a perturbation in the force —the size of the font of the webpage they are implemented in is slightly augmented. Case in point: look here, and spot the augmented horizontal menu bar.

No more Inkling Markets chart widgets on Midas Oracle until:

  1. this problem is solved;
  2. their chart widgets go into feeds.

Nathan Kontny, hurry up to fix that —the great Chris Masse is waiting.

  1. The same thing happened on my blog, too.  I figured it was the Inkling widget that did it, but haven’t had time to verify that yet.  Sounds like the exact same problem.

  2. I first thought it was the MSNBC widget put up by Nigel… but then I published many HubDub widgets yesterday to push the MSNBC widget away from the frontpage… and the problem remained with the Inkling widget… I downloaded the post with the Inkling widget… and it was the culprit.

    A widget should not alter the rendering of the webpage it is inserted in. It’s crazy.
