The key facts:

  • JusTrade is a real-money prediction exchange. FYI, South Africa’s currency is the South African Rands (ZAR).
  • At this stage, they list financial contracts, only.
  • CDA.
  • They welcome customers from anywhere —just be over 18, and do comply with South Africa’s anti-money laundering legislation called the Financial Intelligence Control Act (FICA).
  • “All customer funds whether reserved for margin or not receive interest, of which we take 1% of the interest earned.”
  • JusTrade was granted an exchange license by the Financial Services Board (FSB). – (Security Services Act of 2004)
  • JusTrade is launched by Rory Mackay and Michael Franze. (Mike is the one who wrote the software.)
  • They created a joint venture with the Bond Exchange of South Africa Limited (BESA).
