    I didn’t say who told me.

    Anyway, I see on the iPredict FAQ that they are relaying the “Manipulation?  Nah, don’t worry” message.  That strikes me as a model result that might end-up doing more harm than good.  Even if it’s true in the long run, and there’s little danger of self-fulfilling prophecies in prediction markets in their current form, a single incident can do a lot of damage to the credibility of whoever pushes that message too hard.
