HubDub policies I strongly object to

- The prediction markets are suspended before the official announcement of the outcome.
- Partial selling is impossible.
I want progress on these 2 fronts, or I’ll stop being a supporter of HubDub.

On the first one we are still working through the policy on different types of market. In event markets, in general, we suspend immediately before the result is announced. However VP markets are unusual in that the result is often known without it being officially announced.
Users can’t partial sell at the moment. The challenge there is implementing a system that offers that without creating confusion for new users. However it is one of the things we are considering for a later feature release.

Do expire your prediction markets just like other leading exchanges like InTrade do.
Do not treat your traders like little boys.
You can have partial selling as an option for the sophisticated bettors.

Breakdowns are one thing…….
Creating a suspension which is outside of the information about Timeliness given to punters before they bet or lay is tantamount to cheating those punters out of their expectations…… and usually a lot more besides.
It is crucial that punters know in advance of ALL circumstances that will or even might prevent them trading into or out of their positions. Because a change in how things might happen ( with respect to Time) undermines the very basis of all bets and lays struck!!!!
Punters can “build in” against random, unpredictable vulnerabilities from breakdowns and the like, but when suspension is created at the whim of someone who CLEARLY doesn’t understand the ramifications of their ACTIONS, or WORSE, thinks they do, BUT DON’T!!!!!……
THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!
Do not interfere with Time in a punting environment!!!!!!

About Time all of you guys learned some respect where it’s due, and spelled Time with a capital “T”.
Complacency breeds contempt.
Contempt earns tradegy.
There are millions out there who know very well how to take advantage of suckers (individual or corporate) who don’t give Time its due status……especially the suckers who do it DESPITE advice to the contrary because they think they know better.
