   Oh, I *could* get a gravatar, Chris–if the incentives to sign up to yet another web-based service were stronger. But why bother? Attaching my mug won’t make my posts read any better, after all. And I can thank you for helping me gratify the curiosity of readers who wondered what I look like!

   Gravatars have been adopted by the WordPress (.com and .org) systems. Once you are registered there with your pic, your pic appears on any WordPress blog you comment or post on.
