I have good news and bad news. :-)

There is significant informational value in the current prices being traded on prediction markets, and their price history leading up to the present moment.  There is a potential evolution in journalism in all fields if the latest prices/probabilities can be incorporated into mainstream journalism.  The people BF have are old school, and the “good news” is that I think they should approach your good self Mr Masse to join the ranks in some capacity.  BF were close to the earliest waves of betting exchanges (I think they were the 3rd one to launch), but they’re not at the cutting edge of journalism/media, and the prestige to the BF brand from having say BF become not just the messenger, but the actual news itself, would be enormous.  There is a real story taking place with the prediction markets prices on the US election for starters, and this is not being harnessed.

The “bad news” is that I think they should try to attract an economist or two on to the team, plus I would also like to see church official added to the team as well.  I think an injection of strength to help from a journalistic angle would be fantastic news for BF, as would some real economic skill/understanding, and help with the moral compass.

I tutor classes occasionally in civil liberties vs responsibilities, Customer orientation, manners and etiquette. Every now and again we get a recruit who is beyond help………… Hammersmith is a particularly challenging area in that respect. IMHO further educational effort there is akin to pouring resources into a Black Hole.
It may be better just to ringfence it and put up perimeter placards: ” You are leaving a place of rationality and logical structure, and entering a diferent place, where there are no guarantees. Be aware that Life within is built around a different ideology. It is called Caveat Emptor. Entry is entirely at your own risk. If you do enter and get into difficulties, please address your complaints/requests for assistance to the Office of the Maltese Regulator. Try Esperanto as a primary language: at least it may command attention via curio value.”

Now, about the exotic behaviour of a graviton in a Black Hole…….been there, seen that.
    Hehehe
    Well, it IS a week-end!
