i have used some cool embeddable charts from visifire built on silverlight. the charts have cool animations & interactivity. one can create a chart in a jiffy with their chart designer .

Answers to a couple of your questions:
Nigel, it seems that there’s a text line generated, which comes before the chart… Bizarre.
Sorry about this - it's there to make the widget work on other blogging platforms. Hopefully it should be hidden now, and the layout should work better for you. Please go to http://www.hubdub.com/e/Widget/_97 (when you are logged in to hubdub) to regenerate the widget, and cut and paste the code again.
Nigel, those are the market widgets, right? Any chance to have news markers?
The news markers are currently missing from all our graphs. I suspect that once we have a more satisfactory news gathering system in place we will reintroduce them, probably with a new widget which better emphasize them.
I still need to discover the prediction widgets… Any hint? Thanks.
If you look at the 'my hubdub' section, you should find a button on each of your open predictions which allows you to turn that prediction into a widget.
I hope those chart widgets will go thru the feed…
I think it looks nice enough in google reader - I guess it's to be expected that some of the formatting like backgrounds and borders would be lost in the feed.
Are those charts dynamic? Will they update themselves, later on, Nigel?
Yes, the charts should update every time the page is loaded. Thanks for testing these out for us, and for the feedback
