Hot-Linking InTrade’s Advanced Charts

This post is a test. I’m trying below to hot-link to one InTrade advanced chart. Logically, this chart will update itself, as it is directly refreshed by InTrade’s server. If I see that, indeed, this works out (which implies InTrade’s approval of this kind of hot-linking), I will probably replace all the classic InTrade charts in my “Predictions” page by those advanced charts (with embedded links), which I prefer because they show the transaction volumes.

I shall also look whether those advanced charts look good enough in small screens —since some of my readers read us that way.

BetFair-TradeFair and NewsFutures would be well inspired to provide such advanced charts which bloggers could hot-link to.

UPDATE: It works fine —at least tonite. I shall check whether this charts updates itself in the coming days —it should, but I will check, to be sure. (I want to be sure that InTrade’s server allows bloggers to hot-link those advanced charts, on the long term. They should, in my view, because those advanced charts make them look good.)

TECHNICAL NOTE: When I embedded a InTrade link into the chart, the chart disappeared. Bizarre. So I suppressed the embedded link. Here it is.

UPDATE #2: I’m not sure it works well. Each time I edit this post, the chart disappears, and I have to re-insert it manually. As if the InTrade server would allow one single image fetching and no more. Hummm… No good.

UPDATE #3: I have suppressed the indications of the dimension of the image. Sounds to work.

LAST UPDATE: InTrade’s server does not allow hot-linking of the the advanced charts. They should allow that, or build a second set of widgets featuring the advanced charts.
