#1. A Deep Throat was on the CNN website to get his daily news-junkie fix and, oh surprise, he/she spotted a link to the CNN Political Market… powered by the good folks of Inkling Markets from Chicago. He/she told me that the link from CNN to this new play-money prediction exchange (using Robin Hanson’s MSR) disappeared after a while… maybe it’s an intermittent link… just to test the service… before the grand opening with all the tralala (Champagne, canapés, screen shots on TV, etc.). Mike Giberson will have another playground for his economics experiments.

#2. The Business TV Channel (trademark begins by a “C”) will also open its play-money prediction exchange —also based on Robin Hanson’s MSR, but powered by another prediction market software provider. Well, it’s not really a scoop because I have already hinted about that weeks ago. And Midas Oracle has been receiving tons of visits from Google with the keywords, “CXXX prediction market” —which indicates that many people out there know about this secret project.

#3. Finally, Robin Hanson is rumored to have closed a deal with InTrade about… well… can’t tell you… but watch his blog Overcoming Bias, tomorrow morning, at the first hour. Significant stuff. Now, will this stuff get traded, that’s another story of course.
