How will Wikipedia make money?
Moronic question that will be of interest only to mister Mike Linksvayer. How Wikipedia manages to harness the wisdom of crowds is much more interesting.
I’ll watch.
UPDATE: It was a Tim Russert-like interview. Most of the air time was devoted to pinpointing Wikipedia’s weakness, the presence of errors in the encyclopedia. Jimmy Wales’s rebuttal was centered around the need for control, more writers (4,000 are very active), and the citing of sources. Not a single word on the twin concepts of wisdom of crowds and collective intelligence, alas.
