Has NewsFutures contributed to Eli Lilly’s recent business successes?

The New York Times reports that:

  1. Eli Lilly & Company forecast that 2008 earnings would be greater than Wall Street’s expectations.
  2. Eli Lilly intends to seek federal approval this month for a drug to prevent blood clots.
