Last month, after fairly regular updates to this Nick Knacks blog, I pulled it altogether. My blogging was getting me into more trouble than any alleged gambling I was supposedly encouraging. I was thrown in jail on $50,000 bail for writing about a hypothetical drive through Oregon, and authorities in Louisiana are none too pleased about a certain word I used in a past entry.
The blog is officially back.I figure I can’t get into much more trouble than I’m already in, so might as well blog about it.

The thuggish tactics being used against Nick Jenkins are just despicable. Nick has documented proof that prosecutors in Louisiana and Washington are lying in press releases and to judges. How vindictive are these prosecutors? Enough to waste thousands of tax payer dollars over a $35 bet that, so far, they have not been able to show violated any laws. Ridiculous.
It should be remembered that despite their bully boy posturing, Louisiana allowed SportingBet to pay $400k to settle all issues relating to the high profile arrest of former CEO Peter Dicks, as well as sealed warrants concerning other directors, Nigel Payne and Andy McIver.
