Freakonomics wants PopSci PPX to expand its offering of event derivatives.

Freakonomics (at the New York Times) wants more PopSci PPX prediction markets on alternative energy:

[...] Maybe it is time for the prediction market at PopSci.com to add a jatropha market, and/or to expand its Energy and the Environment market to offer betting on the future success of individual fuel sources, as it now does with ethanol.

Great. And one day, maybe, BetFair, InTrade-TradeSports, NewsFutures and Inkling Markets will listen: WE WANT MORE PREDICTION MARKETS.

[PopSci PPX is powered by the HSX, as you all know.]

UPDATE: And they’ve just put PopSci PPX on the Freakonomics blogroll… :-D

Next: FREAKONOMICS HAS SUCCEEDED IN PERSUADING POPSCI PPX TO CREATE A JATROPHA BIOFUEL PREDICTION MARKET. + Freakonomics + PopSci PPX = Not yet an X group + THE FREAKONOMICS BLOG AND THE JATROPHA PREDICTION MARKET AT POPSCI PPX NOW FORM AN X GROUP.
