As I told you, I’m in possession of insider info on prices. Here’s what I can say safely:
#1. Hollywood Stock Exchange seems to be the most expensive —they are also the oldest in this business. Starting price: $10~$20,000. (For pricing, they need to know whether your marketplace will be public or private. I suppose that public prediction markets get a discount.) ASP model: they manage your internal prediction markets on your site.
#2. NewsFutures. $5,000 will get you started for one “tournament”; plus, $1,000 for each additional “tournament”. Plus, $5,000 per month. However, they are willing to set up a pilot prediction exchange for $1,000.
#3. Consensus Point. The only thing I can say for sure is that they are willing to go as low as $500 for a pilot experiment. [Addendum: Consensus Point charges $30,000 to $50,000 for its Foresight Server prediction market software. The company will also operate turnkey markets for clients for as little as $500 per month.]
Addendum:
#4. Inkling. The following bits of information might be outdated. For a public exchange, a low- to mid-$000s fee will get you started. Plus, $200 per month for up to 1,000 registered users. (It’s debatable whether monthly fees should be based on bandwidth, storage, trade volume, or any other metrics.)
