TradeSports-InTrade traders are taking fright.

“Korchnoi”:

Hypothetically, if all Neteller [accounts] were frozen tomorrow, how would this impact our funds on Tradesports? I know they say our funds are in a bank in Ireland, but surely some TS capital must be in Neteller…?

“cisco”:

[...] the worst would be if BANKS stopped you from cashing your check [...]

“Hangman” (a German trader, who came to TradeSports-InTrader after that a German financial bookmaker went South):

After Neteller has closed their doors for US customer the time is ripe to concentrate to new markets.

In a few weeks only a small number of US residents will be able to place bets outside the US territory. It would be of interest whether TS has an Masterplan for the survival of TradeSports/ Intrade? If the future is unclear it make[s] sense to drawing out the funds.

As you know, we have made very bad experiences with a [G]erman betting exchange.

An open letter from the management would be needed.

One Response to TradeSports-InTrade traders are taking fright.

  1. Daniel Horowitz says:

Why would TS keep assets in Neteller? I don’t think so…

I doubt you will ever have much problem cashing your checks…

I’m extremely wary of the viability of TradeSports without the U.S market (and sports!) That being said, I strongly believe your assets are safe (albeit unusable in TS).
