Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything
Chris F. Masse January 10th, 2007
Via Boing Boing, Wikinomics, the website —complete crap. The book at Amazon —no idea. The wiki (readers are invited to write the eleventh chapter) —I bet it won’t yield anything. And now the blog —good looking and interesting, until you drill it down.
In the blog, I found this eulogy about Wikiasari (a search engine project from the Wikipedia co-founder, which actually will go by the name of Search Wikia). Well, I read the interview of that Wikipedia co-founder by the Search Engine Land guy, and I will tell you frankly, this Wikipedia guy doesn’t have the first clue about search engine techniques. It’s just hot air.
So my assessment of the Wikinomics blog is that it looks beautiful on the surface, but deep inside it’s complete crap. Bye Bye.
