Lance Fortnow’s political coming out:

The Illinois politician garnishing the biggest praise is not even running this year, our junior senator and future president.

My Take On Barack Obama: A fine man, no doubt, but too green. We’ll see whether Lance Fortnow’s wet dreams become reality in 2008, though. Anything can happen in politics. Incompetent politicians are elected at the highest office on a semi-regular basis (Carter, Reagan, Bush Junior).

    There’s a reasonable argument (made in last weel’s Economist) that more experiencea significant voting record is a negative for a legislator running for president. Given the pathetic competition I am long on Obama’s chances for the Democratic nomination, at current prices (about 10%). :)
