Tip: Chris Masse does not need any odds converter, when looking at the BetFair market-generated probabilities. Chris Masse takes the number “1″, divides it by the BetFair decimal odds, and gets the percent probability of the future outcome. Take this, Chris Hibbert (an ice-hockey addict allergic to BetFair)!… — Example for the November 2006 mid-term elections. — US House of Representatives – Most Seats – “1″ divided by “7.2″ = 13.9% — US Senate – Most Seats – “1″ divided by “1.45″ = 69%
Second Thought: I should have registered “Dr. Prediction Market dot com” as the domain name for my prediction market vortal, instead of “Chris. F. Masse dot com“. That would have given moi an aura of respectability, badly needed when I tackle difficult and complex mathematical problems.
