Prediction exchanges, please do use a liquid layout for your sites.

TradeSports / InTrade is trumpeting that the blog Real Clear Politics has integrated its data into its section on political polls. (Nothing Earth shattering, really, in my view. Anyway.)

I checked the Real Clear Politics webpage with MicroSoft Internet Explorer 6, with all kinds of settings, and in all cases, the TradeSports / InTrade probabilities can be seen clearly. With Mozilla FireFox, the little InTrade box will only display the Dems odds, if the browser settings is set on a font size of 18 (with the Times New Roman font style).

If you publish on the Web (as an exchange or as a blogger), it’s a good idea to test your site under many configurations.

Post Scriptum: For your information, the Word Press “theme” (i.e., layout) used for this blog is, yes, fluid. Our good doctor David Pennock will confirm. (It’s so fluid that the poor guy is experiencing a bug, with his Opera browser, when he tries to log in. He sees the login area superposed on the blog name.)
